We are looking for two people who have recently graduated from Universities or Technical schools that are oriented or have a strong interest in Radio Frequency, Microwave and Transmission. Candidates from surrounding cities will be considered, as long as they are willing to commute daily.
Job DescriptionPerforms functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of broadcast equipment and systems. Responsible for maintaining a high level of quality in their work and within all products and systems tested. Job Description: • Configure transmitters and / or systems per system drawings, BOM’s, and order information, using established processes and procedures • Test printed wiring assemblies, higher level assemblies, transmitters, and integrated system per product test procedures and data sheets. • Troubleshoot and repair transmitters and integrated systems. • Provide feedback to assembly areas of any problems discovered in test. • Complete all production documents accurately and in a timely manner • Set up and tear down transmitters and systems. • Follow processes and procedures for recording quality problems on any transmitter or system. • Generate and properly archive Customer facing, product test reports. • Use computer systems to identify components, bill of material structures, orders, costs, etc. • Ability to interface with design engineering for resolution of product design issues • Ability to create test plans and develop test strategies for one of a kind systems. • Assist other Test Technicians and assembly personnel in the investigation and resolution of problems and in documenting solutions to problems. • Aid in identifying and implementing improved test processes and techniques to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, and reduce costs. • Test and repair products/systems for Service or Sales as required. • Keep working area clean and organized. • Must possess the ability to work under changing priorities, interface with other departments/employees, and meet due dates.
Skill Required• Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic circuits and systems to the component level. • Must be a self starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision. • Proven ability to work independently. • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent with above average math ability. • Above average computer skills, including file structures and file naming. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. • Proven ability to work independently as well as within a group setting. • Practical hands-on ability. • Strong track record of accuracy. • High level of integrity. • Fluent in English and Portuguese. (Interviews will be held in English) Desired Experience: • Test experience with demonstrated strong analytical skills. • Experience in the RF test of high power, 10W to 2kW, RF products and systems. • Experience reading schematics. • Experience troubleshooting electronic systems, assemblies, and PWA’s.
