Job DescriptionChros' client purchasing department has an opening for a Senior Facilities Buyer with a minimum of 5 years purchasing experience. The candidate should have a strong background in facilities with some experience in construction and build-outs. The facilities experience should include Building Maintenance and Vendor Management. Sourcing and documentation in addition to preparation of RFP¿s and complete leveling documents as well as negotiating contracts and communicating with the legal department and end users. Development of strategic partnerships and determination of scope needed for bid process are key areas. Emphasis on reducing costs globally through creative and cost reduction opportunities.
Skill Required-Knowledge of experienced purchasing strategies and protocols are preferred -Self-starter who is flexible -Strong attention to detail -Contract experience is essential -Superior customer service -Strong presentation skills and great communication skills are needed -Knowledge of SAP or ERP is a plus -Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience is a must -Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese are mandatory
