| Job Description | • Lead the creation of the risk management department for the refinery.
• Responsible for hiring and managing a team.
• Collection/validation of prices and positions, prepare hedging strategy for the firm, and execute the strategy.
• Report the various risk metrics with the senior management of the firm, and be a direct report for the commercial vice-president of the firm.
• Active trading with brokers, traders, majors, investment banks and other key players in the commodity world for all the array of crude oil and oil products.
• Define all exposures (crude, ng, lpg, butane, gas, nafta, diesel, jet, resids, petcoke, sulfur).
• Analyze market conditions, social and economic data and financial information - Evaluate financial risks, make decisions and prepare reports.
